• Dissertation by Engelbert Waldner „Langtaufers - a Contribution to the Historical Regional Studies of South Tyrol” Chapter C, 3. Farm Genealogies:
  In diesem Jahre 1522 ist Hans von Patschayd als Inhaber des Hofes erwähnt, es handelt sich dabei wahrscheinlich um den Vater des Claus Patscheider, der bis 1564 Hofinhaber war. In diesem Jahre übergab der Vater seinen drei Kindern Paul, Florian Patscheider und Hans Wadeller für seine Frau Anna Patscheiderin den ganzen Patscheidhof, wobei sich die Eltern bis zu ihrem Tode den Nutzgenuss aus einem Teil des Hofes bis zu ihrem Tode vorbehielten. In der Folgezeit ist aber nur mehr von Paul Patscheider die Rede, vermutlich hat er von seinen Geschwistern deren Hofanteil erworben, sodass eine Teilung vermieden wurde.

Comment:

The data situation is very thin, unclear, and confusing. Which date of death refers to Anna and which to Paul is unclear; apparently, this can be seen from the originals of the court records of Nauders.

I simply estimated the birth date as 1530, since 1530 as the marriage date of his parents has a certain probability. The children that were listed in exactly the same way by Wopfner appear to be confirmed.

The wording regarding the farm handover is very ambiguous.
