Comment:
The Ancestry certificate is credible and therefore a good data basis.
It is very difficult to identify the parish of Chlum near Selčan. Selčan (Seltschan) is now Sedlčany, and according to information from Mr. Ing. Radek Malohlava, this Chlum refers to Chlum as a district of Nalžovice (which is also not far from Sedlčany). Kňovitz can really only be Kňovice and is located a few kilometers north of Sedlčany.
The birth or baptismal register of Chlum is in Czech and therefore difficult to decipher. Mr. Ing. Radek Malohlava translated the above data for me. I believe that the name of the mother is Mardina and not Mardiwa.
The origin of the photo is unclear.
The Humhals family tree was sent to me by Mr. Ing. Radek Malohlava from the Czech Republic by e-mail in 2021.
