  It is known that at times Rayen and Reschen were treated as one; however, it is more likely that "at Ray" refers to the farm near the St. Nicholas Chapel and the addition "am Röschen" refers to farms at the entrance of the Royen Valley.

Comment:

The data situation is good: Josef's year of birth (1659) is clearly stated, and the wives are listed by name. The remaining data remain unclear — as with all entries by Wopfner. Dates of death can be identified thanks to the preceding plus sign (+).

The spelling of the third wife's surname appears both as PLAGG and PLACK; both variants are pronounced the same way. It is not known where Richard Patscheider obtained Maria Plack's date of birth on page Z46. The word ‘great-great-grandparents’ on page Z46 refers to Crescencia Patscheider, born 1865.
